Our Expertise

Alpha Combustion Engineering team is composed of combustion engineers who specialize in the Low NOx burner design technology.

Our combined combustion effort has produced over 9 US Patents relevant to the low emission burner industry.

Our engineers have pioneered the low NOx burner industry.
Prior to starting Alpha Combustion LLC we have lead the development or contributed to the following projects:

  • The first single NOx burners with low access air and no FGR.
  • The first 5ppm NOx burners for Fire-Tube boiler applications.
  • The first dual (gas/oil) 30ppm NOx burners with internal FGR and low gas pressures.
  • The first 30ppm low NOx burner with 50 to 1 turndown and zero CO emissions.
  • The first 0.5ppm NO2 burner for high temperature makeup-air application.
